This teaches us that moments of doubt do not disqualify us from God’s love or His plans for our lives.
Another example is Thomas, often referred to as “Doubting Thomas.” He needed to see and touch the wounds of Jesus to believe in His resurrection. Jesus did not condemn Thomas for his doubts but instead offered him the proof he needed. This shows us that Jesus understands our struggles and is patient with us as we work through our doubts.
The Bible also offers wisdom to help strengthen our faith during such times. It encourages us to lean not on our understanding but to trust in the Lord with all our hearts. It reminds us that faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen. These verses encourage us to seek God earnestly, especially when our faith feels weak.
