Another powerful example is that of David. Before he became king, he spent years running from King Saul, who sought to kill him. David could have despaired, but he chose to put his hope in God. Dear friend, let us also remember the words of Jesus. He told his disciples that in this world, they would have trouble. But he also assured them to take heart because he had overcome the world. This promise is for us too. No matter what we are going through, we can have hope because Jesus has already won the victory.
When you feel like losing hope, turn to the Lord in prayer. Seek comfort in His Word, and remember the countless ways He has been faithful throughout history. Trust that He is working all things for your good, even when you cannot see the full picture. Hold onto the hope that God gives, and you will find the strength to persevere.
